Installation

This guide will walk you through the complete installation process for SuperbulletAI.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, make sure you have the following:

  • Roblox Studio - Download and install from Roblox Studio Setup (opens in a new tab)
  • SuperbulletAI - Download the latest version from our official repository
  • Windows OS, No MacOS support yet - Currently only Windows is supported. MacOS is not yet available.
    • (PS: The developers are too broke to afford an Apple product so we can't make a Mac version of the app yet ;P)

Installation Steps

1. Install Roblox Studio

If you haven't already installed Roblox Studio:

  • Visit the Roblox Studio Setup (opens in a new tab) page
  • Click the Download Studio button
  • Follow the installation wizard for your operating system (Windows or Mac)
  • Sign in with your Roblox account after installation

2. Install SuperbulletAI

Download and install SuperbulletAI from the main website (opens in a new tab).

3. Close Roblox Studio Instances

Before proceeding with the plugin installation:

  • Close all running instances of Roblox Studio
  • Ensure no Roblox Studio applications are currently open

4. Install Roblox Plugin

  1. Press the 🔌Install Roblox Plugin button
  2. The application will automatically install it for you. (as long as you have Roblox Studio installed)

5. Connect Rojo & SuperbulletAI Server

  1. Press Connect Rojo - this will open a modal dialog
  2. Press Initialize Automatically to create a new project
  3. Type your project name in the provided field
  4. Press Create Project
  5. Wait for the project initialization is complete.
  6. Press Connect to Studio as well.

6. Create New Experience

  1. Open a new Roblox Studio application
  2. Create a New Experience
  3. Press Publish to Roblox
  4. Fill in your game information:
    • Game name
    • Description
    • Genre
    • Other required details
  5. Press Create

7. Enable Studio API Access (Optional)

For enhanced functionality and data saving capabilities:

  • Enable Studio Access to API Services
  • This allows your game to save player data, such as progress, inventory, and other important information between play sessions

8. Connect Plugin

  1. In Roblox Studio, navigate to the Plugins section
  2. Look for SuperbulletAI Plugins
  3. Press Connect
  4. Press Rojo: Disconnected (Click to Enable)

Next Steps

Once you've completed the installation:

  • Your SuperbulletAI plugin should now be connected and ready to use

Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues during installation:

  • Ensure all Roblox Studio instances are closed before installing the plugin
  • Check that you have the latest version of Roblox Studio
  • Verify that your SuperbulletAI installation is complete
  • Restart Roblox Studio if connection issues persist
  • Make sure your system meets the minimum requirements for Roblox Studio
